Statistics Consultant

Background:

Navanti is looking for an experienced, part-time, on-demand Statistics Consultant with demonstrative experience and skills in advanced statistical theory and application to aid in developing statistical data imputation methods and crash projections models, applying geospatial techniques, and developing statistical applications. Work will be remote via telework, and assignments will be ad-hoc, based on statistical needs throughout the organization.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with programming languages, including, but not limited to C++, Excel, Python, R, SPSS, STATA, and STATAR.
  • Experience working with structured, unstructured, or semi-structured data in support of scientific analysis.
  • Experience cleansing data for data science applications.
  • Experience programming/coding mathematical models.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, testing, and version control.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and best practices.
  • Ability to quickly learn new skillsets to solve challenging problems.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple work tasks, deliver products on time, within, and to quality standards.
